Dynamic Data Migrator™

For organizations looking to migrate to a new messaging platform – convert from Lotus Notes to Microsoft Exchange– data migration can present some of the biggest challenges, impacting migration project budgets and timeline.

AXS-One Dynamic Data Migrator, has been developed to provide a zero conversion alternative to conventional data conversion processes. Currently available for migrations from Lotus Notes to Microsoft Exchange, AXS-One’s patent-pending technology, Dynamic Data Migrator, provides continuous access to Notes e-mail directly from the user’s Outlook client without the costs and risks associated with traditional bulk conversion to Exchange. Original Notes messages remain unchanged, and can continue to be accessed and utilized by end users.

Reduce migration project timelines and costs

  • Reduce project costs by approximately 30% with zero data conversion
  • Optimize project timelines while reducing requirements for systems to co-exist
  • Provide user access to original Notes messages without the costs and risks associated with bulk migration conversion

Ensure full fidelity of data

  • Retain original Notes e-mail with full fidelity and give end users immediate secure access via their Outlook client
  • Fully convert messages dynamically from Notes to Exchange, as required
    • Message, attachment, e-signatures, encryption, links
  • Manage historical Exchange and Notes e-mail via a single data repository with fully integrated retention, disposition and preservation

Minimize infrastructure for new environment

  • Minimize the volume of legacy data required in the new Exchange environment
    • Reduce storage and server requirements
  • Establish e-mail retention policies for Exchange mail on day one
  • Reduce migration conversion e-mail storage overheads by up to 80%
    • Single instance storage, compression

“We expect that
AXS-One’s solution will have a dramatic impact on the cost and time it takes our customers to migrate their Notes mail users to Microsoft Exchange Server and Microsoft Office Outlook. Because it enables users to have access to all their existing Notes mail from their new Outlook environment without needing to convert any of that mail from Notes to Exchange, we feel this solution has the potential to accelerate the rate at which users can be transitioned to the Exchange/Outlook environment."
Jim Bernardo, a Director of Microsoft's Enterprise and Partner Group
