AXS-One Appoints New Vice President Asia Pacific

SYDNEY, NSW – 16 December 2002 – AXS-One Inc. (AMEX: AXO), a leading provider of e-business solutions, today named Mr. David Thompson as Vice President Asia Pacific.

David joins AXS-One from IXOS Software Australia where he held the position of Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand. In the four years David took the Australian subsidiary from a start up company to a highly successful business with a customer base including many of Australia's blue chip companies.

Previous to this he was the General Manager – Sales for GE Capital Information Technology Solutions responsible for sales in Australia and New Zealand. David developed a multi-faceted sales organisation that achieved significant revenue targets across software sales, hardware sales and outsourcing solutions.

In his role as Director – Southern Region at SAP Australia, David was responsible for establishing the Southern Region where he built and grew the business, significantly increasing revenues year on year and forming strong strategic business alliances.

David's wealth of experience both in general management and sales management will be invaluable to his new role at AXS-One.
